Blogs and Media Output

with one comment

Every day, the media and blog writers report on how bad the economy and quality of life have become.  It is reported over and over again.

Then there are the reports on the “Occupy” protests.  More over and over again.

There are also the rants and whines from all sides of the political spectrum.  And this goes on and on.

All of this is about government should do this and that; the government should make it illegal to do these other things.

It is a verbal chaos.  Total insanity.  An avalanche of written foolishness.

Everyone already knows everything.

Does anyone really believe the repetition will accomplish anything?

Comments and referrals to this blog would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The repetition is a self-inflicted problem. If you know it all already, why do you keep looking? Don’t get me wrong, this is not so much a critique. We are all more or less making this mistake. We expose ourselves to this bombardment with information and forget what we originally wanted to know when we went on-line. Getting information is child’s play nowadays, digesting information, understanding information has always been much harder and has not become any easier at all. Before we had to search for information, now we have to filter information and sort and exclude information. That has become a crucial skill. To learn it takes nothing but common sense.
