World Economic Situation

leave a comment »

Here are the specifics:

À    Total nonfarm employment is down 4.6% since January 2007, reflecting a decline of 6.27 million jobs.
À    Private-sector employment has fallen 5.8% and lost 6.625 million jobs.
À    Total government employment climbed 1.6% over the past three years and added 355k jobs.
À    Meanwhile, federal government employment (not shown on the chart) rose 3.7% and tacked on 100k jobs over the analyzed period.

Ergo, as you probably expected, the loss of employment has occurred entirely in the private sector, as Uncle Sam grows more bloated each day. If you happen to be in the private sector, it also might not psych you up too much to know that the average pay per federal worker in 2009 was reportedly $75,419, while per capita average annual income across the U.S. is only about $36,000.

Private employment growth must resume soon, or the U.S. risks falling prey to the same plague that has been consuming the welfare states of Western Europe for decades. And the way to spark private employment growth is certainly not by government growth.

The U.S. has just experienced its second lost decade. And the powers that be in Washington have us on a course that virtually guarantees the next ten years will also be a loss.

The politicians and their trained seals(economists) have led nations into continued economic decline.  There is no end in sight.

These nations are on there way to becoming Third World nations.

Media Publishes Dumb Articles

leave a comment »

The media is composed of television, radio, newspapers, magazines and most importantly, the internet.

Basically, all organized media is just entertainment, nothing more.

People stupidly want to use the media to entertain and sell you trash.

The media is a communication mechanism.  It needs to be used for better purposes than to waste your brain and waste your money.

An important responsibility of organized media is to provide factual information with unbiased analysis.  The media does not do this, just the opposite.

Read any article in any organized media and you will find biased, factless, totally workable garbage.

Organized media pushes this claptrap because it

– has no grasp on reality, it lives in a dream world.

– lacks intelligence

– is evil

– is a failure

– lives off handouts

Organized media is irrelevant to the world.

Those who can and do think for themselves know just how worthless organized media is.

Those who either cannot or will not think for themselves are being led down the path to doom.  These people will NEVER have anything; they will become the serfs of the world.

Our advice is to stop following organized media and think for yourself, or at least find an intelligent and fair to all source of information and ideas.

Again: US Intervention In Syria

leave a comment »

Syria is using chemical weapons on the rebels!

Weapons of mass destruction!

Help the rebels!  Help the rebels!

Mass hysteria.

There is not one reason to help the rebels.  Absolutely none.

There is no possible benefit for the United States.

No nation will be grateful for any intervention; many nations will be angry at any intervention.

Even the Syrian rebels would not be thankful for intervention.

Wake up people and smell the futility.

No intervention!

Jobs And The Economy

leave a comment »

Found on the Internet

Calculating how long it would take to get the jobless number back down to ’90s levels…that is, around 5%. There are now about 131 million jobs in the United States…and about 15 million people who would like a job but can’t find one. Meanwhile, population growth adds about 1.5 million new workers every year. That means the economy has to grow at 1% (in real terms) just to stay even with population growth. Currently, the economy is going in the wrong direction – backwards. It’s losing jobs…maybe 3 million this year…and maybe another 2 million or so before it finally stabilizes (who knows?)…for a total of 20 million jobs down (about 13% unemployment) by the time unemployment bottoms out.

Suppose, by some miracle, the economy turns around…and begins growing at 3% per year. That should be about 3 million new jobs per year. Half of those, remember, are just to keep up with population growth. So the other half – 1.5 million – gradually reduce unemployment. Now, let’s get out the calculator…20 million divided by 1.5 million equals a little more than 13. By these numbers you can expect full employment again in 2022!

But what if the economy doesn’t grow at 3% per year? Ooooh…that’s the problem, isn’t it? All the feds – and practically all other economists too – are projecting a return to normal. They expect a ‘recovery.’ But what if there never is a recovery?

The specific numbers do not matter, but the logic does.  The logic behind the calculation is good.

Based upon the calculation, the United States jobless rate is always going to go up.  This means the real jobless rate, not the false/phoney numbers reported by the government; the government rate does not include those who want jobs but who the government says are no longer looking.

What nonsense!  If someone wants a job and does not have one, he is UNEMPLOYED!

The United States government HAS to do something different if the jobless rate is to go down.  This means no more WORKFARE; no wasteful spending projects to create make-work jobs.

There are solutions.

Why are the politicians who run the nation not implementing them?

u-bam-a Tries Israeli/Palestinian Peace Plan Again

leave a comment »

u-bam-a is using that failure/traitor, John Kerry in another doomed attempt at an Israeli/Palestinian peace accord.  No legacy item for u-bam-a!

Just like all previous attempts, this one will fail.

Because neither side really wants a peace accord.

Both sides are being unrealistic and will not give the other side what it wants in return for what they want.

Each side wants everything and is not willing to give anything.

Therefore, NO peace accord in the near future!

Even if a peace accord was signed, it would not last.

To get an Israeli/Palestinian lasting peace accord, many nations will have to be willing to make a contribution to the process.

This will not happen.

So, the world can forget about a lasting Israeli/Palestinian peace accord.

Drugs In Professional Sports

leave a comment »

There are two types of drugs in sports:  recreational drugs and performance enhancing drugs.

Use of either type of drug damages the image of professional sports.

Young people look up to sports figures.  Society needs these figures to set a good example for the others.  Using recreational drugs sends the wrong message.  Recreational drugs are harmful to the users health and personal finances.  Recreational drugs are also illegal.

Performance enhancing drugs and other procedures are CHEATING.  No ifs, ands or buts; it is CHEATING.  That cheating is okay, is not a message to be sent to young people.  Good people do not cheat.

It is the responsibility of professional sports to end both types of drug use.

The solution is simple:  any use of either type of drug is a total separation from professional sports.

The drug using player would

 – be banned from professional sports for life

 – his current contract would be voided and all monies paid under that contract returned to the team

 – lose all pensions and benefits

– have all of his performance records deleted

 – it would be as if the player had never played

The sports league would conduct random drug tests for both types of drugs.

This would end drug use in professional sports.

Government Announces Jobless Decline

leave a comment »

The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced a decline in the jobless rate, while the Institute of Supply Management says there was an increase in factory activity.

Pure propaganda; which means lies to try to convince the public of a false world.

The jobless rate did NOT decline; the BLS just stopped counting some of the people out of work.  Do not believe it, just ask around among the people you know.

Maybe factory activity increase slightly; so what?  The number of people without a job wanting work is growing and a slight increase in factory activity is just a drop in the bucket.

The government wants to try to convince voters that the economy is improving.  The economy is not improving; it is on life support.

The list of economic problems is endless and nothing is being done about them.

Do NOT demand more government spending to some them; that does not work as has been proven over and over again.
