Very few people can tell the quality of anything.
They use brand names, the opinions of the herd, the opinions of celebrities, and advertising(lies) to falsely determine quality.
Anything of quality costs time, money and effort. A made-to-order item can be of high quality; but you will have to wait for it, pay a high price and the maker will have to put a lot of effort into it. Quality goods and services lack convenience.
As a result, people change to lower quality goods and services:
– They cannot tell the difference
– If they can tell, they lie to everyone(themselves included) about the quality
– They refuse to pay the cost for quality
Thus, everyday the overall quality of goods and services decreases.
If fools can understand, let alone measure quality, why would they want it?
For those interest in having quality; old-fashioned” often means “high quality”.
The facts no one wants to read.
