National Food Policy
A senator proposed that the United States adopt a national food policy.
The senator went on to put forth a laundry list of “requirements”.
The basic idea is excellent.
Some of the requirements are quite valid.
Then, there are all the superfluous requirements.
These extra requirements have nothing to do with provide food to the American public; neither in quality or quantity.
With these inane extra requirements, bread would cost $100 a loaf and hamburger $500 a pound.
These are just a list of ‘goodies’ for the freeloaders to try to buy votes.
This is evil.
Citizens need for politicians to stop trying to buy votes with stupid, unworkable ideas.
The facts no one wants to read.
