Liars Everywhere

leave a comment »

Do not believe anything a politician tells you. It’s in their interest to tell you what you want to hear, and that can be a wide margin away from reality and most likely is.

Be doubly skeptical about threats that require further increases in government spending.

Do not fall in love with bloggers. Anyone who can write reasonably well can now project themselves into the public discourse. People who can actually think, on the other hand, are another thing altogether. Learn to tell the difference.

Follow the money. If someone, or some company, tells you something the solution to which directly or indirectly benefits them, be cautious. That’s not to say that a company that offers products or services that solve various real problems won’t be truthful and genuinely helpful. But when you read something by some guy ranting against gold ETFs and then find out the guy’s a coin dealer, an extra dosage of salt in your diet is required.

Find trusted sources, but even then keep your skeptic’s hat close at hand. In the face of the onslaught of information – true or otherwise – there are opportunities for honest and impartial hard research to help others get to the facts. But that does not mean you should not continue to question them at every turn.

While we believe we will are interested in your welfare, that does not mean that somewhere along the way we cannot slip up or just get something terribly wrong.

In the final analysis, it’s your life and your money – and that means you have the most to lose by picking the wrong path forward.

Those are just a few thoughts.

Governments Are Bankrupt

leave a comment »

All levels of government are broke.

City, state, local and of course federal.

Out of money.

Have been so for decades.

This means:

—  cuts in governmental services

—  deterioration of infrastructure

—  higher taxes

—  more and higher fees for governmental services

—  more and higher fines and penalties

All governments owe billions of dollars.

The politicians have wasted every dime government has collected.

Spent it to buy votes and line their pockets.

Drastic change is the only answer.

This is not a hard problem to solve.

People Fiddle Why Rome Burns

leave a comment »

Whatever you think the world should be, it is not going to get there.

It is going to end in ruins, just like Rome.

The fiddlers come in many guises:

—  those concerned only with their economic wants

—  crusaders who want to  spend someone else’s money

—  pushers of unworkable ideologies

—  believers in government; its goodness and/or its competency

—  the power hungry

—  so-called experts

None of these will save the world.

All they will do is try to  cut off a slice for themselves for free.

Which are you?

News Media Focuses on “Good News”

leave a comment »

Good not as in quality.

Good as in things are great.

Good as in lie, after lie.

There is NO good news.

The world is not doing well, especially the United States.

The media acts like a fan club; putting out only positive news.

There are two causes behind this

—  media puts out what sells

—  readers are from the “ignorance is bliss” group

Both are contributing to the destruction of the world.

Iran Backs Taliban

leave a comment »

Tehran has quietly increased its supply of weapons, ammunition and funding to the Taliban, and is now recruiting and training its fighters, posing a new threat to Afghanistan’s fragile security.

Again and again, iran supports death and destruction.

In its quest to be a regional/religious power.

A dictator of its area.

Rogue state.

People die and property destroyed.

Why?

Because no one will do what needs to be done.

Destroy rogue states; totally.

That is the only way to stop a rogue state.

Only two choices:

—  death and destruction through-out the Middle East

—  total destruction of iran

You choose.

Papal Tribunal to Try Bishops in Sexual Abuse Cases

leave a comment »

Roman Catholic bishops accused of covering up or failing to prevent the sexual abuse of children by priests will be subject to judgment and discipline by the tribunal.

Catholic club(church) still acting like it is above the law.

EVIL.

ALL information about ALL should be turned over to the appropriate local police authorities for prosecution.

ALL church officials should come forward and testify.

All church personnel involved in the sexual abuse of children should be punished by civil authorities.

Not by a so-called church out to protect itself.

As for catholics, it is past time for you to find another church.

Stop associating with pedophiles.

World Peace

leave a comment »

Everybody wants world peace.

At least, they say they do.

Either they lie or they are stupid.

“Peace is always easy to achieve — by surrender. The hard task, the task that confronts us, is to combine peace and unity with freedom.”  —  John Foster Dulles

Exactly what the nations of the world do:  SURRENDER or die a slow death through appeasement.

Does this get them peace?

NEVER!

A classic example:

—  Appeasement in a political context is a diplomatic policy of making political or material concessions to an enemy power in order to avoid conflict. The term is most often applied to the foreign policy of the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain towards Nazi Germany between 1937 and 1939.

Does any fool thing this policy was successful?

Rogue states see negotiation as weakness to be exploited to the maximum.

Peace comes only from taking a hard line and being more than willing to wage war; all out war, total destruction of the enemy.
