Economics

leave a comment »

Economics is the social science that studies the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services.

Balderdash!

Economics is a made-up bunch of nonsense.

No science; just a bunch of unproven assumptions.

It is measured based upon estimates, guesstimates, approximations, samples; not one actual number.

It was created in an evil joint venture between economists and government.

Later, big business joined the cabal.

It is a rigged game to cheat citizens/taxpayers.

Everyone should know it.

Does your grocery bill keep going up while the government says inflation is low?

Does the government report low unemployment when you know people who need jobs?

Do mortgage interest rates go up for no reason?

Welcome to economics; the game you must play with no way to win.

DAILY NEWS — THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 2018

leave a comment »

The 44th G7 summit will be held on June 8 and 9, 2018.

Tomorrow and Friday.

At the G7 Summit Canada intends to “showcase both its domestic and international priorities: to strengthen the middle class, advance gender equity, fight climate change, and promote respect for diversity and inclusion.”

What nonsense.

Nothing important.

Groups like the G7

—  give leaders an opportunity to spew propaganda(lies)

—  give same leaders a recess from work and provide them a free trip

—  waste millions of taxpayer dollars

—  takes focus away from important issues

All such groups should be disbanded immediately.

Almost time for The United States – North Korea summit.

Waste of time and money.

All the focus on a failure.

Everybody’s focus is on nuclear weapons.

Rogue states have many other more important weapons.

North Korea has a massive army; one that could easy overwhelm that of South Korea.

Forget the summit.

Tell North Korea to disband its military(including nuclear and missile) or face maximum sanctions forever.

No negotiation.

Then, immediately implement the sanction.

Also, implement sanctions on any nation that does not implement the same sanctions on North Korea.

Trump seems on the verge of starting a trade war with Europe, Canada and Mexico.

It is long overdue.

Those nations have been robbing Americans blind through unfair trade practices for decades.

Some business and business organizations are whining about it.

They have been benefiting from trade deals that cheat American consumers.

Hopefully, the wheel turns and they can pay back their easy profits.

Trump should start a massive trade war.

The only issue is that whatever he does will be stupid.

This is to be expected as very few people under how trade policies work; maybe no one does.

Especially economists.

Bring on the trade war; cut countries off from US markets.

Too bad Trump will not obtain expert advisors on trade policies.

We have referrals for him.

Facts versus Beliefs

leave a comment »

Found on the internet:

I remember on numerous occasions I would try to convince my Less-Than-Sainted Dad about a particular subject. He would simply answer, “Don’t confuse me with the facts. My mind is already made up.” It seems that researchers at Emory University did a study and found that Democrats and Republicans are also adept at ignoring facts. I know that will shock some of you. But the interesting part to me is that we actually enjoy ignoring facts. Our pleasure centers in our brain get positive feedback when we ignore certain facts that might contradict cherished beliefs.

We believe what we want to believe. If we are confronted with a fact that would not be helpful, we ignore it, explain it away and find some novel new interpretation. Or we look for more facts which favor our position.

Think people in business don’t interpret the data which leads to the best conclusions for themselves (and their stock options)? We want to believe things are going to get better. Facing hard facts is so against our psychological systems that it is the rare leader who can do it.

Rather than letting the data “talk to us,” we tell the data what to say.

END

Man was given a brain.  He continues to refuse to use it.  Man has progressed in spite of himself.  This cannot last.  Life is becoming harder and harder.  Those that start and learn to use their brains will have a much better life.  The have and the have nots will be split by the use on the brain.

Your Taxes

leave a comment »

President Ronald Reagan recognized that higher corporate taxes have a trickle-down effect … and not in a good way.

In his words: “Some say shift the tax burden to business and industry, but business doesn’t pay taxes … business must pass its costs of operations – and that includes taxes – on to the customer in the price of the product. Only people pay taxes, all the taxes. Government just uses businesses in a kind of sneaky way to help collect the taxes. They’re hidden in the price; we aren’t aware of how much tax we actually pay.”

Reagan knew that if Americans understood just how many hidden government fees and taxes are hidden in the price of the everyday goods and services they buy, they would be more than angry.

What does government do with your tax dollars?

Wastes them by:

—  providing excessive salaries and benefits to government workers including elected politicians

—  providing unearned and un-deserved benefits to lowquals, freeloaders and trash people

—  giving money to foreign countries; getting nothing in return from people who hate The United States

—  supporting worthless, corrupt international organizations

—  overpaying for everything

Government could provide high quality services while spending 75% less.

The economy would grow.

Your quality of life would be so much better.

All Government Debt Is Worthless

leave a comment »

As an asset, all government debt is worthless.

No individual, business or other entity should ever buy government debt.

This means(includes) investing in government securities.

The same for quasi-government organizations or government backed debt.

No organization should loan money to any government.

Government forces financial institutions, pension funds and other regulated entities to buy government debt.

When government refuses to repay/redeem the loan/debt, what is the investor/lender to do?

Deporting Illegal Immigrants

leave a comment »

Trump wants to fight illegal immigration:

—  build a wall on the southern border

—  deport all illegal immigrants

—  freeze remittances to home countries

—  eliminate sanctuary cities, churches, etc

Everybody is “up in arms” about it.

Emotionalism.

The United States has over 50 million illegal immigrants.

Deporting all illegal immigrants would be beneficial to the nation.

It would

—  reduce unemployment

—  improve health care

—  boost the economy

—  help fight terrorism

—  give Americans a better quality of life

Using logic, all Americans(non-illegal immigrants) should strongly support the deportation of over 50 million illegal immigrants.

Why are you not supporting the deportation of all illegal immigrants?

Greece Pulls Off Big Scam

leave a comment »

Con men are alive and well in Greece.

Very successful too.

Germany, the European Union and the International Monetary Fund were convinced to willingly give Greece billions of dollars.

Yes, GIVE.

When you give someone anything something and they do not give it back; it is either  a gift or theft.

Since the dynamic trio seem happy, it must be a gift.

Once again proof: “a fool and his money are soon parted”.

A so-called loan to a broke government is the act of fools.

Stupidity never goes away.

“You cannot fix stupidity.”

The smart, honorable action for the lenders would have been to tell Greece to pay up or else.

Else being all out war.

No greek left alive if we do not get our money.

Greece/Greeks should

—  live on bread and water until the debt is repaid in full with a high risk interest rate

—  Greeks live in total poverty until the debt is paid

—  everything in Greece to be sold to pay off the debt

If greece ceases to exist and all greeks are dead, better for the world.

Their choice.

Criminals are evil.

Evil needs to die.
