Stupidity From Entertainers

Where did the idea come from that entertainment figures know more than anybody else?

Everywhere you  look some actor/actress is held out as an “expert”.

An expert on what?

An expert on looking pretty, doing something stupid, going to jail or rehab, not putting their money where their mouth is.

They are always asking you to  donate your money and getting paid to do it.

Why do they never contribute the same percentage of their gross income to  the cause?

Example:

You make $50,ooo and give $500 to some charity  —  1%

Actor makes $20 million per picture —  his 1% is $200,000 to the same charity.  In cash, not donated time.

Or better yet, if they feel so strongly about some cause, they can donate so their net income is equal to your net income.

If they will not do this, then keep their selfish, money grubbing mouths shut.

Very few entertainers make even the smallest contribution to society.

Certainly NOT as a source of knowledge or intelligence.
