First, everybody was whining about u-bam-a care repeal.

Now, it is about tax reform.

The u-bam-a care repeal went nowhere.  Congress wasted time and money on it.

It will be the same with tax reform.

Even if Congress passes some legislation on either issue, the legislation will harmful to the people instead of beneficial.

Half of Congress wants to give tax breaks to business; the other half wants to increase taxes on the rich.

Either trading for campaign contributions or buying votes.

Both are corrupt; downright evil.

Stupid people are still proving just how dumb they are with their North Korea opinions.

Not one of them understands the problem; yet they all staunchly put forth their solution.

The solution is plain as day.

The United States and all its allies totally blockade and isolate North Korea:

—  all North Korean diplomats are sent back including UN personnel

—  no goods in or out; especially food and fuel

—  South Korea must put all assets and personnel out of all joint ventures with North Korea

South Korea and Japan need to prepare for war; massive military buildup.

If the US or its allies are attacked, The United States must be ready, willing and able to totally destroy all of North Korea.

Key Fact:  North Korea will ONLY respond to force.

Health Care Costs Destroying the Economy

leave a comment »

Health care is taking a bigger bite out of the wealth of The United States, putting the entire economy in danger.

Health care costs are mounting:  health insurance premiums, the copays and the deductibles.

Each year, these costs go up faster than the year before.

Sucking the life blood out of the economy.

Businesses require employees to pay more of the burden and pass the remainder on to customers.

Businesses in The United States become less competitive.

Employees cannot afford goods and services.

People want to blame insurance companies, big business and greedy doctors.

These groups contribute to the cause of the problem.

The major malefactors are government and politicians.

Both are incompetent and corrupt.

They cause The United States to have the highest health care costs in  the world but rank about 40th in the world in health care quality(real rank is closer to 100th).

People can get better quality health care in many so-called lessor developed countries; in Central and South America, Southeast Asia.

And pay much less.

Problem is not unsolvable.

Americans could easily have lower costs and higher quality. health care.

A two factor solution:

—  individuals take responsibility for their own lives

—  change government

Most people in The United States are just going to sit around and whine.

Nobody to blame but themselves.

Facts versus Beliefs

leave a comment »

Found on the internet:

I remember on numerous occasions I would try to convince my Less-Than-Sainted Dad about a particular subject. He would simply answer, “Don’t confuse me with the facts. My mind is already made up.” It seems that researchers at Emory University did a study and found that Democrats and Republicans are also adept at ignoring facts. I know that will shock some of you. But the interesting part to me is that we actually enjoy ignoring facts. Our pleasure centers in our brain get positive feedback when we ignore certain facts that might contradict cherished beliefs.

We believe what we want to believe. If we are confronted with a fact that would not be helpful, we ignore it, explain it away and find some novel new interpretation. Or we look for more facts which favor our position.

Think people in business don’t interpret the data which leads to the best conclusions for themselves (and their stock options)? We want to believe things are going to get better. Facing hard facts is so against our psychological systems that it is the rare leader who can do it.

Rather than letting the data “talk to us,” we tell the data what to say.

Man was given a brain.  He continues to refuse to use it.  Man has progressed in spite of himself.  This cannot last.  Life is becoming harder and harder.  Those that start and learn to use their brains will have a much better life.  The have and the have nots will be split by the use on the brain.

Update: Terrorism

leave a comment »

Terrorism attacks are continuously increasing; both in number and severity.

The government cannot or will not stop them.

You are not safe.

At any moment, a bomb make kill you.

How do you protect your family?

Arming your family will not protect you from bombs or a mass terrorist attack.

Do not think it will not happen in your city/town.

Terrorism attacks have been carried out in most nations.

Government policies worldwide are enabling terrorist attacks.

In most countries, few political parties are in favor of anti-terrorist policies.

Many governments/political parties pay lip service to them.

Terrorism and its related attacks can be eliminated.

But not until the truths about terrorists/terrorism are accepted.

Everyone denies these truths.

As always, the government will not take care of you.

Self-reliance is the key to protecting your family.

U.S. to Buy Heavy Water from Iran

leave a comment »

The United States will buy heavy water from Iran’s nuclear program.

“The United States will not be Iran’s customer forever,” the DOE spokeswoman said. U.S. officials hope the purchase will pave the way for other countries to buy the heavy water, which can be used in the development of semiconductors and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging.

Another stupid action by the United States; dealing with a rogue state:

—  sending it money

—  creating a business for it

—  allowing it to develop technology

The United States should be producing and controlling the sale of key high technology products/services.

—  Iran is a rogue state

—  rogue states are evil

—  rogue states must be destroyed

Destroy Iran and not aid its development; development allowing it to do more evil.

Iran Prisoner Exchange

leave a comment »

Any American stupid enough to go to a rogue state or other dangerous nation, deserves his fate.

Let them rot.

If  a foreign power holds  a government employee, military or not; then the power must be co-coerced into releasing the prisoner.

No quid pro quo.

Just release the prisoner or else.

Even if it means all-out war.

Stupidity: Hosting the Olympics

leave a comment »

Los Angeles wants to blow billions of tax dollars.

The Olympics are a spectacle. The athletes are incredible to watch. But hosting the games is a usually a big money-loser for the venue city.

Russia went $39 billion over budget hosting the 2014 Sochi games. Vancouver ended up $1 billion in debt after hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. Athens spent about $16 billion – roughly 5% of Greece’s GDP – on the 2004 Summer Olympics. Some economists say the huge cost even contributed to Greece’s debt crisis.

Now Los Angeles wants a turn to lose money. On Tuesday, it was named as the U.S. bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Los Angeles thinks holding the Olympics would cost $4.1 billion in taxpayer money, plus another $1 billion it hopes to get from private partners. The city has already guaranteed it would cover any additional costs.

As Bloomberg Politics explains, there’s zero evidence that the Olympics provide any economic stimulus to the host city.

“They have a lot going for them, but there are risks involved,” said sports economist Andrew Zimbalist, who wrote a book about the costs of the Olympics and the World Cup. “Every city we’ve looked at since 1960 that’s hosted the Olympics has had a cost overrun. There’s not any evidence that this helps the city economically…”

Zimbalist estimates the city, with an annual budget of about $8 billion, should expect cost overruns of as much as $2 billion.

As usual,

—  propaganda wins out over intelligence.

—  circuses(entertainment) for the masses no matter what the cost.

—  fleece the taxpayers.

—  make politicians and government look good

Stupidity continues its winning streak.
